Rock-a-line

Where: Antequera, Spain
When: 2016
Title: Rock-a-line

These rocky stones are situated in Antequera, Málaga. The place is  called Torcal and it's a nature reserve which rocks are made of Jurassic age limestone of about 150 million years ago.
It's the most rock 'n roll place I have seen up to now.
Unfortunately, that day was utterly foggy and we could not hike and get to the Cave of the Bull and the others caves.
But I will get back.

To Peek At

Where: Loch Awe, Scotland
When: 2016
Title: To Peek At

This is part of the ambulatory of the chancel of St Conan's Kirk. It is situated on a crag high above Loch Awe and is surrounded by trees. You can easily find it on the way to Oban and it's pretty impressive. A lot of midges, tho.
But really nice.
And it's said that here they keep a bone of Robert the Bruce.

Seawood

Where: St Cyrus, Scotland
When: 2016
Title: Seawood

That was another surprise on our way back to Aberdeen.
St Cyrus is a small village and apparently there's nothing but a church, a grocery and few houses. But behind the church there's a cliff and down there's this wonderful, beautiful, long, golden beach. It's impressive from above as it's a 180 degrees view of sand and sea.
The pic I have posted is not that impressive. But believe me, I made almost 100 photos of St Cyrus and they're not good enough to show that beauty.
You have to see it with your eyes.

This shows my hubby resting on a sea-wood that lies in the small bay at the end of the beach.
Love it.

Although you can just imagine the Slains Castle, because today it is just a ruin, it's worthy to have a walk inside the walls.

Shades on the Front

Title: Shades on the Front

The Slains Castle at Cruden Bay.  We were driving back to Aberdeen when it appears, as in a dream. And the sunset was helping, indeed.
