Piscina Mirabilis - Into the Dark

Where: Bacoli, Italy
When: 2015
Title: Piscina Mirabilis - Into the Dark

The Piscina Mirabilis was a freshwater cistern on the Bacoli cliff at the western end of the Gulf of Naples, southern Italy. It is one of the largest known cistern ever built by the ancient Romans, if not the largest one. And was responsible for supplying the numerous ships of the Roman Navy.
To access this place is somehow difficult.
However, there's a phone number on the gate. Call it.

La Gaiola

Where: Naples, Italia
When: 2006
Title: La Gaiola

Naples is a continuous overlapping of emotions and stories.
Here, the sea tells the story of the Gaiola through rocks that rise, massive, from the water.

I remember I was 14 years old when I first discovered this place.  The desire to get on those rocks, to get to the top, although they said it was dangerous ... well, it was greater than any fear.

And until 2006, I have always got back there.

Since 2006, when I go back to Naples, I return as a "special guest". I spend my time with friends and family, but have no time to go back to the places I have loved in my girlhood.

That's how life goes.
